Sarsiado
Subject: Mom bought a fish ( i forgot the name. its like a swordfish, i just call it green bones since its bones is green) a few days ago and its been in the freezer ever since, my sister remembered it and she thawed it and i cooked it this way. we call this dish sarsiado but others escabeche. since my mom is not into "tomato sauce" based meals i did not add tomato sauce nor ketchup.
I sauteed ginger, garlic, onion, tomato and fried fish. i added water to cover, seasoned it with shrimp bullion cube, black pepper and salt and bring ot to boil. i also added shredded cabbage and beaten egg as garnish.
