Neighborhood Party

Subject: on its 3rd year, we had our Neighborhood Christmas Party. Its now bigger and livelier and "kiddier" too. It started 3 years ago with 5 houses but now its about 12 houses. some houses have 1 family, others might have 3-4 families. one family-one house is like us wherein me and my siblings are all single. for others, like the door next to us, they are 5 siblings (thats one family), two of them are married so thats plus 2 families for a total of three.

bilib talaga ako sa mga batang maagang gumigising para lang pumasok sa eskwela ng maaga. minsan, masakit sa akin ang maagang pagsundo at pag hatid ng mga school service sa kanila. naghihikab paako, nagkakamot sa mata pag akoy nagigising sa pag busina ng school serice ng mga batang kapitbahay. ang mga batang iyon ay naka gayak na sa oras na iyon para pumasok.

na aalala ko ang kapatid ko noon. sinusundo na siya sa parehong oras. kaya mas maaga pa dapat syang magising upang mag almusal, at gumayak sa pag pasok. ang laking disiplina ang kailangan upang magawa ito ng isang bata araw-araw sa loob ng 10 taon : 6 sa elementarya; 4 sa high school.

noong kolehiyo ako, umaalis ako ng bahay ng 5:00 ng umaga para sa 7:00 ng umaga kong klase. habang akoy nakasakay, nakikita ko ang mga batang mag-aaral sa pampublikong eskwelahan. isipin mo nalang kung gaano kalaking sakripisyo at disiplina ang gagawin nila at ng kanilang mga magulang. opo, nasa kalye na ang mga bata nag lalakad na ng 5:00 ng umaga. iniisp ko nga kung anong oras sila gumising at umalis ng bahay.

hangang ngayon ganyan ang situasyon, kasi sa pampublikong paaralan 6:00 ng umaga ang simula na ng klase, 8:00 naman kapag pribado. karaniwang 1 oras ang gugugulin sa pag hahanda hangang sa pagpasok. ang iba, dipende sa layo ng bahay at eskwelahan o dipende rin sa napagkasunduang oras ng pag hatid-sundo. marami kasing school service maraming beses(trips) ang ginagawa kaya napaka aga ang mga nasa unang byahe.

im am FLYING today. my destination Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental (Philippines). My 2nd Leg (Mnl - Cgy -Mnl). for this year.

My FIRST leg was Manila - Cebu (Mnl-Ceb) and Dumaguete City, Negros Orienta to Manila (Dgt - Mnl) last FEBRUARY. my FIRST leg was so memorable and now on my second ,im sure it will be more memorable because of the following reasons, but not limited to:

it will be my FIRST FLIGHT to travel alone;
it will be my FIRST time to go to Mindanao (Philippines);
it will be my FIRST time to visit my GirlFRIEND's hometown;
it will be my FIRST time to meet her parents; FAMILY and FRIENDS;
we - my GirlFRIEND and I - will celebrate our FIRST year anniversary;
we will have our FIRST FORMAL date;

Easter EGG Hunt @ the Chapel

this kid got an Easter Egg last sunday at our chapel. the Eggs are donated by some parishioners and this is a yearly tradition. when the kids got their egg, they are asked not to leave for a while as one chapel lady will inspect the egg for a cash reward :D the kids dont hunt the eggs, the chapel ladies just gave it to them so that the kids will not get hurt from the hunting and digging and to prevent chaos. they just sit and wait for their share :D

Yes, its not the egg that is hunted, its the prize that goes with it :D and the smiles & the love of the Lord that every one takes home :D
