Yummy Sunday by Bogie # 22 : Gift from Pangga's Mom

After a series of Pinoy Street Foods, lets take a break and let me feature Pinoy Native Products with a title "Tatak Pinoy" to support the Philippine Department of Trade and Industries' "one town one product (OTOP)" campaign. I will make a blog entries regarding "OTOPs" and other Philippine Native Delis in this meme so do please visit every week

My featured menu for today:
Ampao and Piniato

last week, i featured the gift/pasalubongs of a friend, before i leave Cagayan de Oro and before i bidded my farewel to my Pangga's mom, her mom gave me these goodies from Camiguin. gave my thanx for their generosity and hospitality and promised that i will share these to my family.

flashback....her parents are the best in the sport of tennis. a week before i arrive Cagayan de Oro. Pangga's parents went to Camiguin to participate on a Tennis Championship match. when they came home in Cagayan de Oro, they have these goodies.

i love these products. so sweeet =P~...... by the way, if in case you dont know, Piniato are peanut brittle cut into french fries sized then wrapped invididualy. Ampao are made of rice puffs bigger than piniato.

thanx once again Madam Inday for the sweet gesture and pasalubongs :D and Happy Holidays from our Home to yours.

Product : Ampao (sweet rice puffs) and Piniato (peanut brittle)
Brand : Solings
Town / City : Mambajao
Province : Camiguin

Have a Great YUMMY SUNDAY:D
