Marang
Artocarpus odoratissimus
after our lunch at steves, we dropped by to a roadside stall to buy this fruit. before heading home. at first i thought it was "nangka" or breadfruit, since i know that its not "langka" or jackfruit based on its peel(skin). when we finally arrived, my GF's parents peeled it and let me tasted it.
its like "durian" without the smell, its like jackfruit but creamy white and its seeds is much smaller that of jackfruit. its my first time to eat it, i like it but since its my first time, it might create an upset tummy, good thing it did not.
Have a Great Friday to all of us Food Tripers :D

I've seen this fruit posted several times from other bloggers and I'm always curious about it, just by the look of it, it's like a combination of Langka with the flesh of Durian and the creaminess of Guyabano.
Thanks for always joining, Jay and have a wonderful weekend!
i sooo miss eating this!!!!
dati Php5 each lang yan, mas lalo na sa roadside pag galing kami Bukidnon to CDO .... good times. :)
I ate this for the first time about a month ago. Because it looked like a little durian, I thought that it would be difficult to open but the soft prickly skin was very easy to remove. I ended up finishing the whole fruit without even noticing.
