ang nakaraan kong lahok ay Fettucine na may makapal na hibla at makapal na sarsang carbonara. eto naman ang pinka paborito ng karamihan, ang manipis na hibla ng spaggeti na may maninipis na kinayod na keso para marami. order ng nobya ko ang spageti na eto noong nagmeryenda kami pagkatapos ng kanyang trabaho.

My life's Change(s)

“iOrganize. Sweetly”

My life before was a chaos. Changes do always happened that prompted me to be more carefree. “bahala na si Batman”(let Batman take care of it) that’s I always say to myself and to others. I meet the deadlines hours before it will came. Sometime I got lucky; sometimes I am sorry for not delivering my part. Even though I did delivered, I’m still not fulfilled, I feel there a lot of missed spots and lapses. I not satisfied of my achievements because I cannot feel I put my heart on what I’ve done.

That’s what I want to change. Little by little, I’m a bit more organized. I do now have executive diary to write down my appointments, deadlines and plans I want achieve. I got this change thanks to the hobby of blogging. I got my own notebook to list down all themes and entries I want to write in my blog. I also even have a box to put all things, needed school supplies to keep it handy and easy to reach.

Sometimes I do things in the solitude of my small space at my room. Most of the time, ill go out to have a snack to boost my mind. If coffee can wake up my sleepyhead, treats of Goldilocks will boost my mental alertness.

If there’s one thing that cannot be change in me that would be to have and enjoy a slice or two even three of Goldilocks’ Braso de Mercedes. I always have this every time I want to celebrate for myself little achievements. If it’s a big achievement, definitely I bring home the whole cake, palabok and fresh lumpia.

My changes are yet to come, for I am a work in progress.The only constant in this world is change. Changes must now be dealt accordingly by organizing one’s points of view and way of life. Even change is constant, I wont say “bahala na si Batman” not because for sure he wont come, but I'll say "help me Lord, for I want to organize myself, my life, my future, sweetly".

Food Trip # 66 : @ Persimmon Bakeshope and Fast Food

Baked Siopao

Persimmon's famous product. i was first heard about this was last January 2010. when i came there at that time, they said that baked siopao is only served from 2pm onwards until supply last. so i promised that ill just drop by soon.every time i go and buy, the supply ran out. sadly i came home to Manila without even tasting it. thus when i came to CDO again (april 2010), it was a return with a vengeance and it was a success, thus this entry.

the siopao is similar to bola-bola flavored steamed siopao, what makes this flavorful was the crust that makes it have a little crunch. ketchup is the only sauce. I guess the brown siopao sauce will make this better.

Sisig Solo

Sisig is best if you share it with friends isnt it? but, what if you need to dine alone and you want sisig? chances are, you will order a platter of sisig, eat a portion of it and take-home the rest.

Here in Butcher's Best, it was my first time to see a sisig meant for a soloist. whats more good at this is the sizzling plate's size. it contains roughly about 1/4 of a cup and thats good enough for a hungry solo.

Angus Beef Tips

This was ordered by my Pangga's friend. After we visited a fish spa, we headed here to have our dinner. Angus Beef is the best anyway you prepare it. Pangga's friend allowed me to have a taste. i guess this is char-grilled then cut up into pieces, weighted(to determine the serving size) before serving.

BTW, sorry for the photo, i dont have a good vantage point and the resto is dimly lit :( i hope they phase-out those incandescent bulbs.

sa totoo lang nahirapan ako sa tema natin ngayon. nang nag aayos ako ng mga litrato para sa aking i-blo-blog napansin ko ang dalawang larawan. ito ang una, ang makapal na hibla ng fettucine namay makapal na sarsa ng carbonara. ako ang may order nito habang kaming mag-singirog ay namemerienda. ang kayang kinain ay makikita sa susunod na linggo. clue: di naman manipis kasi may mas manipas pa doon, naging manipis sya kasi kinumpara ko sa lahok ko ngayon. isa pang clue, makikita nyo sya next week kaya abangan.

Tuna Sisig

Since I cant eat fatty foods like pork sisig, I ordered this tuna sisig as an alternative. Its my first time - as far as i remember - to hear "tuna" sisig and I gave it a try. to my dismay :(( its looks and taste like canned tuna sauteed in onions and topped with egg. Thus I call this dish "century sisig" :D what I have in mind and expect was sizzling market fresh tuna flakes and not freshly opened can.

Background of the Entry:

I booked my flight to Cagayan de Oro (CDO) City for the April 2010 about 2 months in advance. Few weeks before my arrival, my Pangga told me that she will go to Manila for a seminar. Unexpectedly, I arrived CDO a day before her. When we - me and her parents - fetch her at the CDO airport, my Pangga was so hungry after hours of long wait at the NAIA3. She suggested for us to eat here and thus this entry. On this day was also a special day for us because its our 20th month as lovers and friends.

Ika-Dalawang Taon

tuwing buwan ng Agusto, pinagdiriwang ko ang "dalawa"ng mahalagang parte ng buhay ko. Sa taon na ito, Ikalawang taon na ang aking "blog" at ang pagmamahalan namin bilang nobyo't-nobya.

pagkatapos kasi ng ikalawang EB ng Litratong pinoy, dalawang taon na ang nakakaraan, na ginanap sa Intramuros, Maynila, membro na noon ang aking kapatid sa Litratong Pinoy. sinama nya ako sa EB na iyon at nasiyahan ako na kasama sila. kaya pag uwi ng bahay, binuhay ko ang aking tulog na tulog na blog. Dalawang linggo ang nakalipas, sinagot na ako ng magandang dilag.

napag uusapan narin lang ang dalawa. sa ika-apat na pagkakataon, naka punta ako sa Cagayan de Oro City ng dahil sa Dalawang Kasalan(enero at mayo 2010) at sa Dalawang anibersaryo(agosto 2009 at 2010) naming magsing-irog.

Food Trip # 59 : @ Rai Rai Ken (5 of 5)

Mixed Tepan

this dish is ordered for my girlfriend's sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law. after the couple's pre-cana seminar, they hurried to join us. when they are near the place, her mother ordered this for them so that when they arrive, the food is served.

i guess, this dish is a combination of Seafood Hot Pot Tepan and Saikuro Beef Tepan with the usual mung bean sprouts as side dish.

after they ate, they went on to their appointments and us (me, GF, and parents) went to the airport for i will go back to manila to end this trip (January 2010 visit), as we bid goodbyes at the airport, GF's mother cheered me up by saying "see you this May for my daughter's wedding", i smiled and said "yes ma'am, ill be there".

YUP!!!! i was their in that wedding which was held last May 8, 2010. i visited them on April 23, 2010 and ended on May 9, 2010. the food trip goes on so keep on visiting/reading my entries.

My girlfriend's parents shared this dish and ordered a cup of rice for each. I really do envy them :"> even for 35 years of marriage they are so sweet as newly weds.

The dish has sizzling beef cubes and a side dish of mung bean sprouts.

Seafood Hot Pot Teppan

When the waiter served this in our table, i immediately took a photo of it. for i am so shy to cause delay to the eaters' enjoyment. when no one in our table claimed it as his order, GF's mom immediately called the waiter and informed him that this dish is not part of our order and the waiter acknowledged his mistake by getting it gently and serving it on table next to us.
