La.Pi.S # 53 : we are ONE

...dish meals

I have to admit..i had a hard time thinking about this week's theme. After a few days of thinking (after the theme list was posted) i come out with this ONE and only ONE idea : "we are ONE dish meal"

as my idea imply, i have to come out with a food photo that takes on a ONE dish meal. in other words ONE complete meal. now my next delema is what photo to post, is it the one dish meal in Paella (below) or one dish meal in lasagna (top). what the ####!!! why not post both. problem solved =))

Happy 1st year anniversary Lasang Pinoy Sundays and congratulations Ms. Ces for a job well done as our Admin. Playing every week is a pleasure to me, not only for my tummy and eyes abut also of my mind and heart as an eater =)) i gained more knowledge as my co-players share their skills and knowledge in cooking & photography and in parenting & homemaking.

i am also proud to annouce that as of this date/entry i started playing since Aug. 11, 2008 with the theme "Breakfast" thus a made a total of:

40 entries;
2 absentses;
1 double theme on one entry/post;
lots of friends and
infinite guest.

once again, i thank you for making this meme ms. Admin, lookong forward to more years of friendship. Happy 1st anniversary LaPiS :D

..ang mag REUSE?

Imposible ba ang gumamit ng REUSEable bag sa pamamalengke?
hindi naman diba? kaya bakit kaya ayaw ng karamihan ang gawin ito?

para sa akin ang daming kong nakukuhang benepisyo rito:

una, isang bag lang ang dala ko kasi lahat ng pinamila ay nasa bag lahat kaya di na namamanhid at nangingitim ang mga daliri ko;

ikalawa, maraming nakakapansin sa akin na chika-babes =)) at hindi pala ako, sa bag ko pala kasi hindi pang karaniwan sa lalaki ang may bag sa palengke.

ikatlo, nakakatipid ang mg suki ko sa plastic bags kaya may diskewento ako bilang pasasalamat nila sa natitipid nila sa pagbili ng plastic;

ikaapat, pag kaunti ang plastic na nagagamit sa palengke, kaka-unti rin ang mababasurang plastic;

pang huli, ang pinaka importante sa lahat, ay ang kabutihan dinudulot nito sa kapaligiran at kalikasan.

kaya mag REUSE na!!! hindi naman imposible ang tumulong sa kalikasan diba?

... to REUSE?

is it impossible to use a REUSEable bag in the market?
its not isnt it? so why many still dont do this?

as for me, i reap so many benifits on this:
1st, i only put all items on a single bag thus i dont have anymore cyanotic fingers;
2nd, many ladies looks at me =)) opps, its not me, its the bag. its a rare sight for them to see a guy with a bag in the market;
3rd, merchants gives me discount on their items since they have big savings because they save in buying plastic bags. that discounts is a token for their appriciation for me;
4th, since mercants use less plastic bags, we trash/throw less plastic bags in the garbage;
lastly, the most important of them all, less plastic on waste more beneficial to ourt surroundings and to the environment.

so lets REUSE, its not imposible to care for the environment isnt it?

Intriguing dish on chicken. i heard about the name on the internet while searching visyan recipes. thus when i seen this on the menu and i have some more to spare, i ordered this one to try and to have an idea on its taste, it good ah, it like fish sarciado without the tomato sauce.
