ABC Wed R4: the Letter "S"



S is for
Sitaw
(others call this a string beans or snake beans)
Vigna unguiculata sesquipedalis




stewed on coconut cream, and squash; braised of soy sauce; and part ingridient to other dishes.

Hmmmm! I love them regardless of their name or what they're called! And those look yummy! Great shot for the S day!

I love sitaw. Another great way to serve them is to blanch them slightly, cutting each bean into quarters and adding them to a local take on Salad Nicoise. Sarap!

One of my favourite vegetables! I love all types of green bean.

I remember eating those in Holland where they can be found easily on the markets and in the bigger supermarkets. Great choice.
