This windmill farm is located at Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The farm has 20 windmills, each has about 24 stories high and produces a total of 25 Megawatts of electricity enough to power 40% of the province. It is along the coastline, thus, being there is breathtakingly amazing. Engineers decided to put up the farm there since the place is not prone to typhoons and the northwesterly winds are strong.
To get there. Take a bus or a plane in Manila to Laoag. Its better to hire a van from Laoag City to go there, this will take about 45 min to reach the farm. Public commuting is possible but you will make almost a kilometer hike from the national road to the farm.
Have a great Wednesday to all...Happy Holidays :)

Without a doubt the world needs more of these "farms". Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas!
The wonder found in the wind!
I've never heard that this is called a windmill farm.
Wonderful.
Seasons greetings from my blog to your blog.
Bear((( )))
Those turbines are fascinating. I never realized how large they really are until I saw a documentery about them.
Great choice for the letter W.
That reminds me of my years in Holland. A good W. Best wishes.
The images themselves are gorgeous . I used to live near one and found them mesmerising.
I had no idea how tall these were until we passed some on a trip. A very good "W" choice...and something we need more of...
Nice shot of the windmills in a row and with the shadow of one in the foreground.
