Lasang Pinoy Sundays # 11 : Breakfast

I made this breakfast so that I could use my new bread toaster which I won from a culinary magazine publication house as a prize. Its just a simple toast with strawberry jam & scrambled egg. I partner it with a mug of coffee w/c is not seen on the pix, sorry :)

But you know what, my favorite breakfast meal is ToSiLog (Philippine bacon, fried rice & sunny side-up egg). Unfortunately, fatty meals are not good for me/us so I can't eat that meal anymore, I'll just have to be contented for either breakfast cereals or bread and hot choco.

Have a happy & blessed Sunday :)

Strawberry Jam: Clara Ole Sugar Free (Philippine made brand name)
slice loaf from the local bakery, toasted
Egg: 1 egg, milk, onions and rosemary

I love scrambled eggs! I usually add milk, salt and pepper, and onions to it. Hmmm I think I'll probably make one right now! Yum!

Scrambled eggs on toast is my comfort food :) When I need something to eat but can't think of what I want, I go for scrambled eggs on toast.

Scrambled eggs and toast, that's my usual breakfast when I was in college, easy to prepare and light on the budget. i love it with cheese, by the way.

Like your layout design and had to look and see where it came from. Nice. Also loved your post for H today and everything there looked great to me. I was interested in your new toaster and how simple it could be. I remember our first toaster was something else and only toasted one side at a time and then you opened the door, down, and the toast slid down on the open door and when you closed the door it was then going to toast the other side as the act of opening the door and closing it was how you toasted both sides.

I am sure that reads like a nut wrote it but the toaster was beautiful for us as we had toasted our bread stuck on a fork held, by hand, mom usually, over the open fire in the cook stove.

My post for H (hair) is over at Canon Pixels
