Lenten season is a time for abstaining from meat every friday (starting Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday). Luckily, im been lessening from meat and its fats for about a year now due to health risk thus this little sacrifice is no longer a burden to me. and one of my few experiments is this one, tokwa (bean curd) in sinigang soup. no need to fry. hmmm, parang i miss the miso soup of tokyo-tokyo :D
ive been eating a lot of tokwa since i stated eating tokwa't baboy during my high school days. and sumtimes towat't baboy is a comfort food for me. but now im abstaining from meats & fats boiling and stewing towka is part of the plan.

Of course if it works in miso, it would work in sinigang too! What a genius idea! I love sinigang anything :)
masarap naman talaga ang tokwa sa sabaw kaya't palagay ko ay masarap nga ang tokwa sa sinigang :-)
I love tokwa in any form. This is a must try sinigang for me.
