Maligayang Pagbati mula sa Cagayan de Oro.

sa wakas, na tupad din ang aking MITHI at PANGARAP, nakarating din ako ng Cagayan de Oro.

nagkaroon ako ng problema sa pag kopya ng aking mga larawan mula sa aking Camera sa Laptop ng aking pangga kaya ako na huli sa pag gawa ng aking lahok. ang una kong plano ay ibahagi sa inyo sa lahok na ito ang una kong hapunan dito sa Cagayan de Oro kaso mas "romantic" ang ikalwang plano kaya heto ang aking lahok.

sa kadahilalanang magkalayo kami ng aking nobya - ako ay nasa Manila, sya naman ay sa Cagayan de Oro - ngayong lang kami nagkaroon ng pagkakataong mapag isa sa hapunan kaya ito ang matatawag naming "first dinner date" :">

nag date kami sa Bigby's, na matatagpuan sa LKK Rosario Strip, Cagayan de Oro. ang kinanin namin ay yaang nasa larawan, ang tawag nila ay "fisherman's catch". alam ng karamihan sa ka-blog ko ay di ako kumakain ng masyadong mamantika at matatabang pag kain at alam din yan ng nobya ko kaya pagkaing dagat ang aming hapunan : 2 pirasong inihaw na hipon; 1 serving ng calamares, isang breaded cream dory, buttered veggies at isang kanin. ang order nayan ay pra sa 2 katao na kaya sulit sa amin ang ganitong platter, nag dagdag nalang kami ng isang pang kanin at tig isang inumin - ice tea sa akin; cola sa kanya. hating magkapatid kami kaya eto ang aking plato:

pagkatapos naming kumain ng hapunan. nag lakad-lakad muna kami sa mall at nakipag kita sa kanyang mga magulang at isang kapatid para mag kape.

im am FLYING today. my destination Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental (Philippines). My 2nd Leg (Mnl - Cgy -Mnl). for this year.

My FIRST leg was Manila - Cebu (Mnl-Ceb) and Dumaguete City, Negros Orienta to Manila (Dgt - Mnl) last FEBRUARY. my FIRST leg was so memorable and now on my second ,im sure it will be more memorable because of the following reasons, but not limited to:

it will be my FIRST FLIGHT to travel alone;
it will be my FIRST time to go to Mindanao (Philippines);
it will be my FIRST time to visit my GirlFRIEND's hometown;
it will be my FIRST time to meet her parents; FAMILY and FRIENDS;
we - my GirlFRIEND and I - will celebrate our FIRST year anniversary;
we will have our FIRST FORMAL date;

Taho

Taho comes from Soy Beans, thus this is my take to this week's theme.

according to a TV show - long time ago thus i forgot where and when - products like taho, tofu and tokwa comes from a single process but different stages of maturity that makes it different in textures. my suking mamang taho confirms it.

They grind soy beans and put in hot water to extract its milk (soy milk). they add water, soy milk and calcium (to make it firm). then they put the taho in pails for vending. the middle part is the tofu, its firmer than taho but softer than tokwa. the bottom part is the tokwa, thats where the term "latak ng taho ang tokwa" came from. Tofu has two common varieties : frim; and silken.

Im craving for towa't baboy everytime i finish a glass of Taho :D

Eyeglasses

yes my dear readers, i'm wearing an eyeglasses. its all started when i was in 1st Year High School. When a good doctor when to our school and held medical examinations for us, he, well we, found out that i can i am nearsighted. thats explains why i need to go to the class front row seat jaz to copy the lectures. i usually sit on the back since i'm one of those who are tall. after that med exams, my father brought us (me and my sister) to have an eye refraction and its started my eyeglasses days.

my first eyeglasses is made of glass lens since dad told us its virtually scratch proof, but sadly is breakable thus in a few months time i need a new glasses. i made it a point to go for plastic lenses so that its worry free. well, almost, we need to buy a new ones since plastic lenses are easily be scratch.

but now, im better compared to my HS days so i use glass lenses since year 2000 and i change eyeglasses every 3 years since my eyes changes its sight. the photo, features my latest eyeglasses, new frame i should. the one before this has a broken arm thus i need a new ones. the optometrist said that my eye sight is not yet changed, we will just change the frame and recycle the old lenses (w/c is bigger in diameter) so that ill only pay for the new frame.

the ordinary choco fudge sundae is now sprinkled w/ Oreo Cookie crumbs. i admit as of this writing, i cant recall its exact name. i can only recall "cookies and cream" sundae but my sister said "oreo choco fudge", if you know this one, pls do share it in your comment.

Taste My Life # 10 : My Blog's 1st Anniversary

i started to register and get my blog spot about December of 2007. but i don't have anything, any story to blog about but i registered anyways.

my 1st blog story came when we visited MV Dulos for the first time and Salcedo Market in Makati City. New Year Eve celebration came so thus stories rolled for a bit. after that, i dont have any to blog about thus my site became stagnant.

when my sister - she's the one who brought blogging in our home - joined the eyeball of Litratong Pinoy meme in intramuros, she asked me to join. thus i did. i enjoyed that trip and my blog interest got high so i joined in the meme and made my 1st serious blog story. that story was about Liwaliw (stroll) and the rest came that easy.

...became a photographer as a hobby. thus, i learned to manipulate photos.

...gained new friends. some of them i met once or twice.

...my interest in Food, Travel and Life intensified and taking a snapshot and doing write ups to document it.

...my written and oral English (grammar) is developing on every story i make.
