What's the sense of traveling places without sampling their local specialties. Food that makes the place known for and the other way around. This is my Food Trip, where visiting a place is not the same nor complete without eating what do locals are proud of. I will make a blog entries regarding the food I tasted during my travels in this meme so do please visit every Friday and the Food Friday Meme.

so true. traveling is never complete unless you have sampled the local fare. lasang sarciado---so may ginger ito pero walang tomatoes? parang di ko ma-imagine ang lasa.:D
It looks like a kilawin. Is it sour?
Happy Friday!
That looks interesting, mukhang masarap :)
ui sarap nito friend=) have a great weekend!!
that's the excitement of traveling you get to meet new friends, see beautiful places and taste new dishes! that one looks different akala ko may recipe ka :-) itanong ko nga sa visayan friend ko how they cook it! anyway thanks for sharing all your travel dishes!
alam mo agent jay na kapatid ni jenn, may point ka, masarap tikman ang mga dishes ng iba't ibang lugar lalo na ung homegrown. sana lang i am as adventurous as you pagdating sa pagkain. :)
First time to hear the name. I love sarciado but since this has not tomato and I don't seem to see any eggs (optional though for sarciado), I'm very curious how this tastes. Looks delectable as it is.
haven't tried that yet ... is it maanghang (because of the word 'halang-halang')? looks good!
thanks for playing again, Jay
appreciate it much!
